We are looking for a part-time professional, proactive, team-oriented Recreation Facilities Assistant to work in the Portola Hills Community. (10 – 30 hours a week) 

Overview:

• Provide friendly, in-person customer service to community members and vendors at all community facilities, guaranteeing residents’ expectations of convenient on-site assistance

• Protect the integrity and useful life of the amenities by accompanying residents during set-up and striking of their private reservations on association property.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setup, strike, and running support during homeowner events
• Ensure a secure, clean facility after each event
• Observe during events and ensure facility rules and reservation regulations are enforced. This may include monitoring alcohol consumption, documenting facility damage, and dispatching patrol or police as needed
• Monitor pool usage, communicate with visitors to address any breach of the rules, dispatch patrol or police as needed, and report violations to management
• Provide access to community amenities by distributing key fobs to walk-in homeowners and programming information into the online access control system
• Conduct routine facility inspections and coordinate work orders 

Qualifications:

• Can-do, team player, positive spirit; enthusiasm for community and customer service
• Reliable transportation and driver’s license
• Able to lift 30 lbs., occasionally move bulky items Event or recreation experience and/or genuine interest in the field

Work Schedule: 

• Weekends and evenings vary depending upon the events scheduled. 12-30 hours per week, with the potential for more. 
• Hours: Mon – Sun 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Pay $16.00 per hour. Uniform dress code (polo shirts/khakis.)
