2015 Miles in 2015: Exercising for a Cause

At the start of a new year, many people decide to challenge themselves and set lofty resolutions. Crummack Huseby set a goal that would go beyond helping themselves.
As a group, they challenged each other to run, bike, walk or exercise for 2015 miles in 2015. With each miles completed, the company would donate $1 up to $2,015 to Olive Crest. This worthy non-profit works to assist abused, neglected or at risk youth and their families.

Through the year, the team ran, took spin classes, boot camp, danced and lifted weights while logging over 4,500 miles. Plus, they will be topping it off with a team 5K on Thanksgiving morning.  It seemed like a tall order at first, but the team took steps to ensure the goal was met by the end of the year. It is truly rewarding to see the money go to Olive Crest as they upgrade one of their residential facilities that house at-risk youth. In these homes, the children are taught essential life skills as they transition into adulthood. 

Crummack Huseby is already working on their charitable efforts for 2016. They are excited to set their sights even higher to make a difference in the New Year.
