A JOYFUL SUCCESS! OVER $8,000 RAISED FOR NEGU!

Throughout the year, Crummack Huseby participates in many local charities. This month we were honored to participate in a fundraising campaign for the Jessie Rees Foundation. Their foundation was inspired by Jessie Rees’ courageous fight with childhood cancer, where she decided to focus on helping other kids. This desire led to the creation of her fun-filled JoyJars® and Never Ever Give Up (aka: NEGU®.)

Because of the support from our Crummack Huseby community, we were able to fill 255 JoyJars full of love and encouragement for the brave warriors who are still fighting cancer. On October 4th, the Mobile Joy Factory came to visit our offices where 30 staff and donors spent four hours filling jars, knowing that the next person who opens it is a child who needs some encouragement.

All those who participated were in awe of the story of Jessie Rees and how her simple question “how can we help,” has changed the landscape of dealing with childhood cancer. Seeing videos of children’s eyes lighting up, when they receive their JoyJars, will stay with us for many years to come. Our team has already made a commitment to participate in the JoyJars next year! Join us then or anytime during our charity efforts.
