EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT—IVY CHRISTIANSEN

Ivy’s one of those left-brain and right-brain kind of people. She’s a Senior Accountant at Crummack Huseby supporting her fellow coworkers, yet in her “me time,” Ivy dabbles in creative writing with desires to study a different language. This type of multi-talented individual is exactly why Crummack Huseby hired Ivy this past Spring.

With a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting, Ivy started her career in Mission Viejo in the accounting department. Her hard work and great reputation led to a staff accountant position with a CPA firm in Lake Forest. Eventually, Ivy wanted to add more customer-facing to her job and she shifted to working at a property management firm. 

“I enjoy working with great people who care about the quality of the work we provide to homeowners and board members. I love feeling like I’m part of the bigger picture of property management.”

Besides accounting, Ivy has a passion to keep learning. “If I could do nothing but go to school for the rest of my life, I think I would have great fun as a professional student.” Her son inherited Ivy’s love of learning as he’s teaching English in Mito, Japan. 

Crummack Huseby immediately noticed how Ivy would pitch in to help wherever she was needed. This trait extends outside of the office too as Ivy and her husband frequently contribute to the Orange County Red Cross blood drive, and help gather supplies for women’s shelters through their church.

When we asked Ivy what comic book character she would be, it’s no surprise she said Wonder Woman. We agree.
