Implementing Pro Advice While in Training

November 19, 2020    Employee Spotlight

After being promoted from Assistant Manager to Community Manager in Training, Kelly Davidson continues to succeed at every task with such talent and grace. It was hard not to notice the joy with her new role, “I love doing community improvements and connecting with homeowners keeping their kind neighborly spirits alive.” She always rises to new challenges and has learned that managers have a lot of important deadlines that are considered behind the scenes, especially during these challenging times.

Kelly’s personal approach has stayed consistent, even through Covid, “With everyone at home, our call and email volume has basically tripled. It’s changed in the amount of people I speak with each day.” For Kelly, that’s a good thing. She wants to hear from more homeowners and shared with us how thankful she is to continue helping everyone while working from home.

“Kelly is the kind of talent we embrace at Crummack Huseby. She knows how to utilize our proprietary software and intelligently navigates working remotely while still giving that in-person service our clients know and love,” says Sandy Huseby, Co-Founder/Co-Principal and COO.

Her biggest success during Covid was helping get multiple things coordinated and straightened out in order to have a successful project that all homeowners can appreciate. Kelly knows she’s not the only one at Crummack Huseby to find successful moments at work, and she looks to the Crummack Huseby Fundamentals (aka CH Fundamentals) which consist of 34 inspiring lessons to adapt to your work or home life. “The CH Fundamentals are 34 lessons that we apply to our jobs on a daily basis.” Kelly finds them all helpful but fundamental 13 really resonates while working from home: Bring it Everyday. This fundamental encourages people to have passion because it’s contagious, “Approach each day with energy, focus, purpose, and enthusiasm. Work with a sense of urgency to get things done.” She truly loves that she gets a chance to learn something new.

Kelly is a Californian through and through. She loves California car culture and grew up in the Angeles National Forest, “I got to work up in the mountains, I was also a forest service volunteer during my early teen years.” Today she’s still an avid hiker and loves being outdoors.
